To uninstall Old legacy and Install new
1. click on the “Start button”
2. then the “control panel” (if you are not running Windows XP you will have an additional step of clicking on settings)
- find the “add remove programs” icon and click on it
- scroll down to “Legacy” and click on remove
- follow the prompts selecting to remove the program but do not remove shared components
- When you finish the uninstall open “Windows explorer and look at the legacy folder. You will see that all of your data files are still there! For the class room only we want to remove those files so we can all start out clean.
- select the Legacy folder and hit the delete key (do not do this on your computer at home)
to install Legacy insert the class CD-ROM
- select Install Legacy 4.0 27 Mar 03 version password = history
