All Spelling variations are covered ____________________________________________________________________________ Vol I Number I SUMMER

1986 Editor & Publisher Elaine Easterly Busch P.O. Box 81 Mt Aukum CA 95656

Editor's note; I wish to thank all of you who have shown interest in getting a RADER Newsletter started. I have had so much incouragement that I have decided to take the plunge and get it going before I finish my book.

It will be a little homespun in format in order for all of the RADER searchers to communicate with each other and still get all the information to me so that a master file can be kept to be used by you subscribers.

There will be several different catagories covered and as the Newsletter develops, I will look forward to your input and suggestions as to how we can make this a real family endeavor. SOOoooo let's get started........ In this first issue let's start with the first generations of RADERs that many are connected to. I have recieved notice of several later RADER arrivials; we will include those families when we recieve a little more documentation on them. I would like to document each generation so that in time we will have all the pieces put together.

I [Johann] Adam RADER b. [ca 1660-1664] Mannheim Germany. d. Upper Hanover Twp. Philidelphia Co. (now Montgomery Co.) PA [ca. 1730/35] belonged to the New Goschenhoppen Reformed Church m. [ca 1685] Catharine TEIBERT/TAUBER/DIEBERT b. [ca 1662-1680] Germany d. 19 Apr 1751 Emmaus PA; Ch. under II

What documentation exists? We have Finney's book and a few other scraps. Can anyone document any of the information in brackets? I have recieved at least a dozen different dates and have also recieved 1 letter stating that Adam died in 1721 in Germany and only Catharine and the children immigrated to America. ***
