1880 U.S. Census on CD-ROM Contains Over 50 Million Names
The United States 1880, the British 1881, and the Canadian 1881 Censuses can be searched online. The 1880 United States Census is complete. Approximately 50 million individuals are contained in this census. The British Isles census contains 25 million individuals from England, Wales, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man. Scottish records are not included. The 1881 Canadian Census contains 4.3 million individuals.

The International Genealogical Index (IGI) lists the dates and places of births, christenings, and marriages for more than 285 million deceased people
