                                                     6 November 2007

Dear “Roeder Connections,”

It’s a long time since many of you have heard from me. I have not gathered  any significant Roeder material since I published   Roeders in the Hosensack Valley.

In 2003 I moved to Copelands Oaks, a retirement community in northeast Ohio. Because of macular degeneration I gave up my car and discontinued  my annual visits made for 20 years,  to the Hosensack-East Greenville area, even though I am now only a short day’s drive away.

This letter is  a kind of closure, although I  am not slamming the door! I would be happy to hear from any of you who chose to stay in touch.

If you wish for amy more copies of Roeders in the Hosensack Valley, I  have abou 30 left. They will be  $ 8.00 each  plus whatever the postage  will cost. New regulations are confusing, so it would be simpler to wait till you receive your order to send any  money.

I  am also  offering the last document I wrote, Wher Our Early Roeders Lived,  5 pages describing where some old Roeder homes are located. The cover is a map showing  where  4 counties, Berks, Lehigh, Bucks, and Montgomery,  come together, the area where these homes are to be foud  I’m asking $5.00 plus postage.

I have some copies of  End of the Road, the story of my adult years, illustratetd with photographs  and full of the sometimes absurd happenings of sixty years of my life, which were lived in 8 different states.  It  is  6.oo plus postage.

Sorry! I did  not meant to sound so commercial. I would be happy to hear from you and to know how life is treating you!
