Son William was executor, witnessed by William Rader, Valentine S. Rader and Bondsman William Rader of Jacob. The Will also directed that Henry's slaves were to be set free after his death. 21. Alt Death, 1 Sep 1851 - Greene Co. TN Henry wrote his Will December 21, 1846
and was probated in Greene Coun ty, Tennessee September 1, 1851
The Will mentioned wife Catherine, sons: Henry, John, Casper, Dani el, William; daughters: Elizabeth Bowers, Rachel Basinger, Catherine S mith, Isabella Smith, and Mary Lauchner. Son William was executor, witnessed by William Rader, Valentine S. Rader and Bondsman William Rader of Jacob. The Will also directed that Henry's slaves were to be set free after his death. William Rader, son of Henry, apparently renounced his executorship of the Will of Henry but reconsidered and accepted that position 9/1/1851 with Andrew Rader and William Rader of Jacob his security

22. Probate, 25 Sep 1851 - , , Greene, Tennessee Henry's real estate property was sold at auction, as directed by his W ill, on September 25, 1851 [2]. The personal property of Henry was sold at public auction and the results recorded December 1, 1851 [7]. Henry's Will indicated that his heirs were to share equally from the p roceeds of his personal estate as directed by his Will. Henry's Will indicated that his daughter Mary Laughner had already received $123.25 (her son Daniel was not to receive anything according to the Will), son John had already received $62.00, daughter Elizabeth Bowers had reseived $132.80, daughter Rachel Baysinger had received $110.00, son Casper had received $38.00, daughter Catherine Smith had received $93.00, daughter Isabella Smith had received $95.00, son Henry to receive only $1.00. This meant that each of these heirs would have their proceeds reduced by these amounts. As shown by the Inventory of Henry's Estate, the amont from the sale was $1316.95 [7] which was divided among the heirs as indicated in the settlement document [3]. Henry had 11 children but son Henry was to receive only $1.00 which amounted to each of the other children of Henry receiving aproximately $181.70. Using this as a guide, Mary Laughner's heirs can be identified as those receiving $6.38 per person (excluding Daniel) and John Rader heirs can be identified as those receiving $11.57 per person. Henry's slaves Alfred and his wife Mariah and their children Ellis an d Martha Ann were set free April 5, 1852 as directed by Henry's Will and were allowed to remain ion the State of Tennessee for a period of three years. Security was provided by William H. Glasscock, George Jackson, Henry Rader, Martram V. Glasscock and Leland Davis [9]

23. Property, 5 Apr 1852 - Green Co, TN. Henry's slaves Alfred and his wife Mariah and their children Ellis an d Martha Ann were set free April 5, 1852 as directed by Henry's Will a nd were allowed to remain ion the State of Tennessee for a period of t hree years. Security was provided by William H. Glasscock, George Jack son, Henry Rader, Martram V. Glasscock and Leland Davis [9].

24. Probate, 5 Dec 1859 - Green Co, TN. Henry's property was sold at auction, as directed by his Will, on September 25, 1851(Greene County, Tennessee deed book 25, page 470 dated October 16, 1852). Henry's estate was divided among his heirs on December 5, 1859(Greene County, Tennessee Settlements volume June 1855 to December 1869, page 167). In this settlement each heir mentioned in Henry's Will received an equal share of approximately 181 dollars except those specifically exempted by the Will. Henry did not mention his sons Daniel and Andrew Rader in his Will but each received an equal heirs share in the settlement. The settlement also listed Henry's grandchildren by his deceased daughters Mary Rader Laughner and Catherine Rader Smith.
