THE INTERNATIONAL SOCIETY OF GENETIC GENEALOGY

PRESENTS A  MEETING OF INTEREST FOR GENEALOGISTS

DATE:  Saturday, November 19, 2005
TIME:  1PM - 2:30PM
PLACE:  Belle Cooledge Library
        5600 South Landpark Drive
        Sacramento, CA

TOPIC:  INTRODUCTION TO GENETIC GENEALOGY

Please join us and learn about DNA as a wonderful tool for advancing and/or confirming your traditional research.

DNA testing is fast becoming the most useful research technique for genealogists.  Learn in a low tech presentation how it is done and what you can gain from the results. Hear about some "success stories".

Many researchers have broken through those "brick walls" using DNA testing.

Those just starting their research can avoid false leads.

PRESENTER:  Katherine Hope Borges, Founder ISOGG   Member DAR, Colonial Dames of the 17th Century, Administrator of 4 DNA surname projects (Bolt, Thompson, Fuller, Lyons) and 2 regional DNA projects (Azores, Laurens County, S. Carolina)
