Teacher  I am an Adult Education Teacher at Folsom Cordova Adult Education with credentials in four areas;  Financial Services, Computer Applications, Computer Programming, Office Occupations.  I train all levels of users in the use of computers and the Internet. I maintain a web site of over 1,000 HTML pages at http://www.rader.org. I lecture to medium sized audiences  on the internet and Genealogical software.

Intranet Analyst. I was responsible for California State Teachers Retirement System's Intranet.  I develop goals and objectives as well as content.  I did a feasibility study on the operating systems in use for personal computers to determine whether to migrate from Windows NT to Windows 2000 or Windows 98.

10 years Portfolio Investment Officer I  Investment office, California State Teachers Retirement System Investment of both Fixed Income and Equity type of securities. 

Full discretion over a $5 billion cash portfolio for several years. Developed a portfolio model which forecasted effect of various interest rates and portfolio structures on total return. Used that model to manage the Liquidity Portfolio. Analyzed all types of securities and produced position paper on the advisability of holding those securities. 

Produced forecasts of the future interest rates by utilizing the methods of Technical analysis and applied that forecast to the management of the portfolio. Measures and rated over 100 brokers on their pricing effectiveness and applied that information to the opportunities given the brokers for future trades

Installation and coordination of Investment office Computer systems (Bridge, Portia, Barra, Instinet, Posit, Telerate and Bloomberg)

Independently research corporate, mortgage, short term, government and private placement securities. Monitor credit ratings of issuers and maintain reviewed list of investments. Summarize and analyze performance and return data of the securities in various asset allocation categories.

Develop data base of Alternative investment (Private Equity) partners and partnerships. Analyze financial statements of corporations. Handle problems in settlement of securities trades and deal with brokers on specific trade issues.
